This past Friday, Winnetka saw its first significant snowfall of the season. Snow can be lots of fun here at North Shore Country Day School – we wonder what it would be like to have a snow day at camp?. During the school year our summer camp slip-n-slide hill is transformed to a small sledding hill. Our play ground and play fields become winter wonderlands where creations of snow people can be seen far and wide. We enjoy getting outside and playing in the white stuff during school- albeit wearing many more layers than we do during the summer months!
Of course, the first snow fall means it is just about time for families to register for summer camp. Final preparations are being made on the registration software and website. In 2018 we will be introducing three new programs. “Page-to-the Stage” Theater Arts Program, Short-Term Day Camp and Pre-Camp Day Camp. Check out the descriptions for these three new programs. We are still offering our traditional camp offerings of Day Camp, Expedition Camp, Language Immersion Camp and Little Explorers Camp as well as out extended day programs.
This year we will be offering an Early Enrollment Discount to those families who enroll before December 31, 2017. Last year more than 25% of our families enrolled and took advantage of this tuition discount. More importantly, they secured a place in our programs. Enrollment for 2018 opens soon.
For now, get out an enjoy all the fun of the first snow fall of the year. And remember, summer will be here soon!
